About Jose
Jose initiated his journey in the wind sector six years ago, serving as a commissioning technician for the renowned Nordex/Acciona. His career evolved as he transitioned into external blade repair, eventually advancing to internal roles. With expertise in flashovers, carbon freeze, leading edge protection (LEP), and lightning strikes, Jose has actively engaged in lightning protection system (LPS) work with Vestas. Elevating his career, he shifted to external platform work, where he played a pivotal role in training over 200 wind technicians in blade repair on a platform. Further cementing his reputation as a leader in his field, Jose ascended to the position of lead blade repair/rescue trainer, imparting his extensive knowledge and experience to empower the next generation of wind technicians.

About Jorge
Jorge embarked on his journey in the wind industry five years ago, initially taking on the role of a troubleshooter. In this capacity, he mastered a variety of tasks including gearbox changeouts, comprehensive inspections, proficient use of borescope for intricate internal examinations, turbine installations, and executing hydraulic oil changeouts. Recognizing a desire to cultivate further expertise and contribute to knowledge sharing in the sector, Jorge transitioned his role two years ago. He dedicated himself to developing his instructional skills, focusing on educating others about the mechanical components of the wind turbine.

About Daniel
Daniel began his career in the wind industry as a logistics associate, managing materials and aiding with supply chain operations. As he gained more experience, he advanced through the ranks, becoming a Level 1 blade repair technician and quickly progressing to Levels 2 and 3. However, realizing blade repair was not his preferred field, Daniel shifted his focus to the mechanical components of the wind turbine. He specialized in conducting gearbox and driveshaft inspections, as well as honing his troubleshooting skills.

About Homero
Homero embarked on his wind career 18 years ago, starting as a blade repair technician. Leveraging his gained expertise, he quickly ascended through the ranks, earning a position as a lead technician. Within a few months, he was leading a diverse group of 24 technicians in various repairs. After completing his OSHA certifications, Homero took on the role of a safety coordinator for the same company. In the following years, he began training technicians in composite work and safety rescues, showcasing his comprehensive knowledge and commitment to the industry.

About John
John embarked on his professional journey 18 years ago as an intelligence analyst for the Marine Corps. Transitioning his skills, he embraced the roles of a firefighter and paramedic five years ago, securing certifications in Structure Collapse Rescue, First Aid, CPR, and Advanced Life Support. Balancing his commitment to public service, John also joined Wind Trade Academy as a Rescue Instructor, where he brings his multifaceted experience to enrich the learning experience for aspiring professionals in the wind energy sector.

About Gabriel
Gabriel initiated his journey in the wind industry 10 years ago as a Level 1 technician. With dedication and skill, he advanced to a Level 3 technician, specializing in an array of repairs, including spark cap repairs, lightning strike resolutions, internal repairs, injections for spark caps, delamination, infusions, and cosmetic damage. He also gained experience working on Leading Edge Protection (LEP) with 3M Tape. Notably, Gabriel was the lead technician pioneering the first project of lightning belt changeout in the United States. A few years into his versatile career, he stepped into roles as a supervisor and consultant for blade repair projects, further expanding his expertise and influence in the field.
